Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without com- promising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (Brundtland Report, 1987). Historically, sustainability has been linked to the fight for social justice, conservation- ism, internationalism, and other past movements at the end of the XX century. These ideas culminated in the so-called “Sustainable Development”.

ISEC Lisboa is committed to aligning its activities and responsibilities with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and joining locally in a common and global effort. To this end, it decided to de- fine and implement a Sustainability Policy embodied in the Sustainability Action Plan and the Strategic Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change.

The line of research in Aeronautics, Space and Air Transport (AETA), made up of research pro- fessors from ISEC Lisbon and their students in these areas, arises because they believe that everyone can be involved in the research fields of aviation, air transport, aeronautics and space given the capacity of the teaching staff installed.

Welcome Reception

In addition to regular meals, as part of the social mission for the entire academic community in our food units, we can also have extraordinary Catering services for events promoted by the IST/UL.

Alternatively, by other entities (external) and held at IST/UL or ISEC Lisboa facilities, where you can find a variety of products, made in a rigorous and personalized way.

Gala Dinner

The Conference Dinner is held in a special space at at the conference venue, and offers conference participants an excellent chance to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed setting while getting to know each other and making new connections outside the main conference environment.

This is a ticketed event and there are a limited number of places, so please book upon registration to avoid disappointment. Extra tickets may be purchased for guests if desired.
